Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Process payroll and ensure timely weekly paycheck disbursement
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Manage sales tax filings and compliance documentation
- Collaborate with CPAs during quarterly and annual audits
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks accounting workflows
- Oversee expense tracking and budget monitoring processes
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Desktop
- Proven track record with weekly payroll processing
- Strong understanding of GAAP and KY tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
