Responsibilities
- Manage weekend financial reporting cycles and month-end close procedures
- Process and reconcile complex transactions for international client portfolios
- Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with HMRC regulations
- Support audit preparation and documentation requirements
- Monitor cash flow positions and weekend banking activities
- Collaborate with weekday teams for seamless financial continuity
- Implement weekend accounting controls and process improvements
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent professional accounting certification
- Minimum 3 years' experience in financial accounting or practice
- Advanced proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, and SAP systems
- Expert knowledge of UK GAAP and tax compliance frameworks
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong Excel and data visualization capabilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
