Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger and financial records using QuickBooks Online
- Process accounts payable/receivable with bi-weekly reconciliation cycles
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Manage payroll processing for 15-20 employees using ADP platform
- Assist with annual tax preparation and audit documentation
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial workflows
- Train junior staff on accounting software and compliance standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification strongly preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Familiarity with Indiana sales tax compliance regulations
- Experience with multi-currency transactions for international clients
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail (<0.5% error tolerance)
- Ability to work independently while meeting weekly deadlines
