Responsibilities
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of all financial statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices and tracking payments.
- Process weekly payroll for all employees using QuickBooks Online to ensure timely and accurate distribution.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial reports.
- Reconcile credit card statements and expense reports.
- Communicate with clients and vendors regarding billing inquiries and status updates.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting preferred.
