Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Process payroll and ensure timely tax filings (quarterly and annually)
- Generate financial statements and variance analyses for stakeholder reviews
- Implement and optimize accounting software workflows (QuickBooks/Xero)
- Support audits by providing documentation and resolving discrepancies
- Collaborate with tax professionals for year-end preparations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks/Xero proficiency
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required (Bachelor's preferred)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax compliance regulations
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Proven track record of meeting deadlines in high-volume environments
