Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and financial records using QuickBooks Online
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll submissions
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions monthly
- Prepare financial statements and management reports for stakeholders
- Assist with audits and ensure compliance with GAAP/TX tax regulations
- Support month-end closing procedures and journal entry adjustments
- Implement process improvements for financial data accuracy
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks proficiency
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation a plus
- Expert knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and accounting software
- Experience with multi-state tax filings and reconciliations
- Proven attention to detail with error-spotting abilities
- Strong communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
- Dallas-based candidates preferred (hybrid work available)
