Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all journal entries are accurate and reconciled daily.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and balance sheets.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Conduct monthly expense reports and assist in the annual budget preparation process.
- Collaborate with the management team to provide financial insights and forecasts.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet tight weekly deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to ethical financial reporting.
