Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 50+ employees using ADP system
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions weekly
- Prepare month-end closing reports and variance analyses
- Manage accounts payable/receivable with 24-hour turnaround targets
- Assist with quarterly sales tax filings and audits
- Update QuickBooks entries with weekend transaction batches
- Collaborate with weekday team for seamless financial handoffs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Weekend availability mandatory (Saturday/Sunday 8am-4pm)
- CPA certification or actively pursuing preferred
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in remote environment
