Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle bookkeeping process, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a weekly basis.
- Process payroll and manage employee time sheets for the weekend workforce.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is essential.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
