Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Process payroll and ensure timely tax filings compliance
- Generate monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Manage vendor relationships and optimize expense tracking systems
- Collaborate with CPAs during audit preparation and tax season
- Implement QuickBooks enhancements and process improvements
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required; Bachelor's preferred
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with advanced formula knowledge
- Familiarity with sales tax filing and payroll processing regulations
- Strong attention to detail with ability to meet strict deadlines
- Professional certification (e.g., AIPB) a significant advantage
