Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including journals, ledgers, and bank reconciliations.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently within the weekend timeframe.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements and balance sheets for clients.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax document preparation during off-peak hours.
- Reconcile credit card statements and bank accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Communicate with clients regarding billing inquiries and financial status updates.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state financial regulations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Previous experience as a bookkeeper or in an accounting role (1-3 years minimum).
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is essential.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and formulas).
- Must be available to work Saturday and Sunday shifts.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
