Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform accurate bank reconciliations and credit card statements for multiple clients.
- Process and post journal entries to the general ledger.
- Prepare and review monthly financial reports and variance analysis.
- Assist with year-end audits and tax preparation support.
- Communicate with clients and vendors regarding billing inquiries and financial status.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or certification in Accounting, Finance, or Bookkeeping (e.g., AAT, ACCA).
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience, preferably with weekend availability.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online or Xero.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies immediately.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
