Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, providing insights to senior management.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Collaborate with external auditors during year-end audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure financial data integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel skills required).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
