Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes and financial reporting for diverse client portfolios
- Conduct detailed account reconciliations and variance analysis
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Implement internal controls to ensure SOX compliance
- Lead tax preparation and planning initiatives for corporate clients
- Mentor junior accountants on GAAP standards and financial software
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic financial initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting or corporate accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX, and tax regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
- Experience with daily payroll processing systems
