Responsibilities
- Process high-volume accounts payable transactions with 99.9% accuracy
- Manage vendor communications and resolve payment discrepancies proactively
- Reconcile vendor statements and maintain detailed payment records
- Implement process improvements to reduce invoice processing time by 20%
- Collaborate with procurement team to resolve purchase order discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX regulations
- Lead month-end closing activities for AP sub-ledger
Qualifications
- 5+ years of high-volume accounts payable experience
- Advanced proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Proven track record of reducing DPO and improving cash flow
- Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAP) preferred
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and 1099 processing
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero tolerance for errors
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
