Responsibilities
- Process daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, for the weekend period.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Manage and organize digital and physical financial documents and invoices.
- Prepare and generate weekly financial reports and balance sheets.
- Assist with quarterly tax filings and ensure compliance with local and federal regulations.
- Reconcile credit card statements and expense reports.
- Maintain the general ledger and assist with month-end closing procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during weekend shifts.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
