Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and trial balances.
- Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
- Reconcile credit card statements and vendor accounts.
- Maintain and organize financial documentation and filing systems.
- Support the accounting team during year-end audits and tax preparation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience (essential).
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume, urgent environment.
