As a Weekend Bookkeeper, you'll work Saturdays and Sundays in our modern downtown office, supporting a diverse portfolio of local businesses. Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks Online
- Process payroll and reconcile bank statements bi-weekly
- Prepare monthly financial reports and variance analyses
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and invoice processing
- Assist with quarterly tax preparations and documentation
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Collaborate with senior accountants during handovers
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or 3+ years bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and payroll processing
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with multi-currency transactions (preferred)
- Valid Arizona driver's license and reliable transportation
