Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process bi-weekly payroll and manage employee expense reports
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and bank reconciliations
- Utilize QuickBooks for transaction recording and reporting
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and audits
- Provide financial insights to senior management through data-driven reports
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (Advanced functions)
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Weekend availability is mandatory (Saturdays & Sundays)
- Professional certification (e.g., QuickBooks ProAdvisor) a plus
