Responsibilities
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements with precision to ensure data integrity.
- Process and post daily invoices, managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable with strict accuracy.
- Assist in the month-end close process, specifically focusing on weekend deliverables and reporting.
- Prepare and organize financial reports, ledgers, and summaries for management review.
- Maintain accurate and organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
- Assist in payroll processing and tax document preparation during the weekend block.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience is mandatory.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Pro/Online, Xero, or Sage) is essential.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data formatting).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a quiet office setting.
