Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions and reconcile bank statements
- Manage payroll processing for weekend staff and contractors
- Prepare financial reports and monthly closing documentation
- Maintain accurate QuickBooks records and digital filing systems
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and variance analysis
- Coordinate with weekday finance team for seamless workflow transitions
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks proficiency
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, formulas)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and payroll tax requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and error-spotting abilities
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday 8am-5pm)
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
