We are seeking a detail-oriented Weekend Bookkeeper to join our growing finance team in Oklahoma City, OK. Responsibilities
- Perform Month-End Close: Complete all necessary journal entries and closing procedures to ensure accurate financial statements.
- Reconciliation: Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts to the penny.
- Accounts Management: Process accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and distribute weekly/monthly financial reports to management.
- Compliance: Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for tax documents and invoices.
- Payroll Support: Assist in the weekly payroll process for select clients.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience, preferably in a weekend or part-time capacity.
- Software: Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (Advanced functions required).
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Skills: Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Work Style: Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain strict confidentiality.
- Availability: Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays (and potentially Monday afternoons for closing) on a recurring basis.
