Responsibilities
- Process daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Manage and update client ledgers in QuickBooks Online and Xero.
- Prepare and generate weekly financial reports for management review.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Maintain accurate filing systems, both digital and physical, for all financial records.
- Communicate with clients regarding account status and outstanding balances.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is required.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during weekend shifts.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting preferred.
