Responsibilities
- Manage and process accounts payable and receivable transactions with 100% accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts weekly.
- Prepare and post monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
- Assist in the preparation of payroll reports and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Perform bank deposits and manage petty cash funds.
- Support the month-end close process by preparing necessary journal entries.
- Maintain an organized digital and physical filing system for all financial documents.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online or Xero.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating or fixed schedule.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
