We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our finance team. Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts weekly.
- Process accounts payable and receivable to ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Prepare and post monthly financial reports, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
- Assist with payroll processing and the preparation of tax documents.
- Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to identify discrepancies and improve reconciliation processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is required.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to spot errors in financial data.
- Must be available to work weekends as part of the schedule.
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
