Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and GAAP standards.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and external audits.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Provide financial data analysis to support strategic decision-making and budget planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
- 3+ years of progressive experience in general accounting or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and auditing processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
