Responsibilities
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of all financial transactions.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes for the weekend period.
- Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger entries and financial statements.
- Assist with the preparation and processing of payroll for weekend staff.
- Review and verify invoices, receipts, and expense reports for compliance.
- Collaborate with the weekly team to ensure seamless month-end closing procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is mandatory.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Macros).
- Must be available to work a full-time weekend schedule (Friday, Saturday, Sunday).
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
