Responsibilities
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes for the weekend period.
- Process payroll entries and generate financial statements for client review.
- Assist with the month-end close procedures, including journal entries and trial balance analysis.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documentation.
- Identify discrepancies and resolve them promptly with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Expert proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage 50).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Deep understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently during weekend shifts.
