In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, and ensuring our organization remains compliant with financial regulations. You will work closely with our finance team to provide insights that drive business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Process and track accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
- Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Assist with the preparation of payroll entries and tax documentation.
- Perform variance analysis and identify discrepancies in financial data.
- Maintain and organize financial files, records, and reports.
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual reviews.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to spot errors quickly.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Effective communication skills and a professional work ethic.
