The Role
The Payroll Specialist will manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and employee satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Process payroll accurately and timely for all employees (weekly/bi-weekly).
- Verify timecards, approve leave requests, and calculate commissions.
- Prepare and distribute paystubs, W-2s, and year-end tax documents.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and provide excellent service to employees.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive financial data.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Reconcile payroll accounts and maintain accurate digital records.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
