Responsibilities
- Process high-volume weekend transactions and reconcile accounts with precision
- Manage weekend payroll cycles and vendor payment processing
- Generate weekend financial reports and variance analyses for Monday review
- Oversee weekend accounts receivable/payable cycles and collections
- Maintain digital ledger integrity using Xero and QuickBooks platforms
- Collaborate with weekday team on seamless financial operations handover
- Ensure weekend compliance with UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years UK-based bookkeeping experience with weekend shift exposure
- Expert proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, and Excel (VLOOKUP/PivotTables)
- ACCA/CIMA part-qualified or equivalent accounting certification preferred
- Proven ability to manage high-volume weekend transaction processing
- Deep understanding of UK VAT, PAYE, and corporate tax compliance
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-error reconciliation history
- Strong communication skills for cross-team financial reporting
