As a Weekend Bookkeeper, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our clients' financial health, ensuring that all transactions are recorded accurately and in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). You will work closely with our team to prepare financial statements and resolve discrepancies.

Responsibilities
- Perform daily bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurate.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Process payroll for the weekend cycle and verify tax filings.
- Prepare and generate financial reports, including balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
- Update and maintain the general ledger with precision.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Respond to client inquiries regarding financial statements and account status.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or Xero is mandatory.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Experience with payroll processing and tax preparation is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during the weekend shift.
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
