We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to handle our weekend financial operations, ensuring our clients' books are accurate and up-to-date while you enjoy your free days during the week.
In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining our reputation for financial excellence. You will manage daily financial transactions, reconcile accounts, and support our team with essential back-office functions.
Responsibilities
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts weekly.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with high accuracy.
- Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.
- Assist in the preparation of weekly financial reports and variance analysis.
- Manage and organize financial documents and digital records.
- Perform bank deposits and cash management tasks.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax document preparation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (including formulas and pivot tables).
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during weekend shifts.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable internet connection and access to a home office setup.
