Responsibilities
- Manage complex month-end close processes and financial reporting for multi-state operations
- Lead SOX compliance initiatives and internal audit coordination
- Analyze financial data to identify cost optimization opportunities
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow forecasting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic financial planning
- Maintain GAAP compliance and implement accounting policy improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years public accounting or corporate finance experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel with Power BI
- Proven expertise in financial statement preparation and analysis
- Strong knowledge of NY tax regulations and SOX requirements
