Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) reconciliation.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Process and verify payroll for the weekend workforce.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and monthly financial reports.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Organize and maintain digital and physical financial filing systems.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Accountant with a proven track record of accuracy.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs).
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
