Responsibilities
- Execute accurate daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries
- Manage weekend transaction processing and financial reporting deadlines
- Utilize QuickBooks Online and Excel to maintain organized digital financial records
- Assist in month-end closing procedures and financial statement preparation
- Collaborate with weekday finance team to ensure seamless financial operations
- Implement internal controls to maintain data integrity and compliance standards
- Support audit preparation and documentation requests
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks proficiency
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and California tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-error transaction processing
- Ability to work independently in weekend shift environment
- Proven experience with multi-currency transactions and reconciliations
- Professional certification (CPA, CMA, or QuickBooks ProAdvisor) a plus
