Responsibilities
- Perform accurate daily bookkeeping entries using QuickBooks Online
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements weekly
- Process payroll for weekend-shift employees bi-weekly
- Generate monthly financial statements and variance analyses
- Manage accounts payable/receivable with strict deadline adherence
- Prepare sales tax filings for Louisiana state requirements
- Implement financial controls to prevent discrepancies
- Train clients on basic bookkeeping best practices
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or 3+ years bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Louisiana payroll processing certification preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-error tolerance
- Strong analytical skills for financial variance analysis
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills for client training
- Experience with multi-currency transactions a plus
