Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using Xero and QuickBooks software
- Process weekend payroll and reconcile bank statements
- Prepare month-end financial reports and VAT submissions
- Manage accounts payable/receivable with weekend deadlines
- Assist with quarterly tax filings and compliance documentation
- Liaise with clients regarding weekend financial queries
- Support month-end closing procedures
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper (minimum 2 years)
- Proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, and MS Excel
- AAT Level 3 or equivalent qualification
- Strong attention to detail with numerical accuracy
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- UK GAAP and HMRC compliance knowledge
- Valid right to work in the UK
