Your Responsibilities
As the Weekend Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of financial data during our off-hours operations.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and account coding with precision.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Prepare and post journal entries for the weekend period.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and variance reports.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure audit trails are complete.
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc data analysis and reporting needs.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and GAAP standards.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who are self-motivated and possess a strong foundation in accounting principles.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage accounting software.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional experience.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during weekend shifts.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
