Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Manage general ledger activities, including detailed account reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Assist in the annual external audit process and coordinate all documentation requirements.
- Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Prepare and file corporate tax returns while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the annual budgeting process and long-term forecasting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is a strong plus.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong working knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and superior analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple competing priorities.
