Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile multi-location general ledger accounts with 100% accuracy
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable for Tampa and NYC offices
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
- Ensure compliance with FL and NY state tax regulations
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance + 5+ years' experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Proven expertise in multi-state bookkeeping
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or CPA preferred
- Strong GAAP knowledge and SOX compliance experience
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in high-volume settings
