Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accurate processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform weekly reconciliations of bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledgers.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements.
- Assist with payroll processing and the timely preparation of tax documents.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial transactions.
- Collaborate with the team to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with GAAP standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is mandatory.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Conditional Formatting).
- Strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday/Sunday) consistently.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
