Responsibilities
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews.
- Process accounts payable invoices and accounts receivable collections.
- Prepare and post accurate journal entries and adjust monthly accruals.
- Assist in the preparation of weekly financial reports and variance analysis.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure all weekend transactions are recorded correctly.
- Review and approve expense reports for accuracy and policy compliance.
- Collaborate with the finance team to resolve discrepancies and audit findings.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or general accounting.
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage preferred).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and basic financial reporting principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) reliably.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
