We are currently seeking a highly organized Weekend Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. As a Weekend Bookkeeper, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health of our diverse client base. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and ensure our monthly and weekly close processes are seamless and accurate.
Responsibilities
- Financial Reconciliation: Perform daily reconciliation of bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Accounts Management: Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) tasks, including processing invoices and managing payments.
- Payroll Processing: Process payroll for select clients or internal staff on weekends.
- Reporting: Prepare financial reports, trial balances, and month-end close packages for management review.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial records comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Data Entry: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accounting software.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a part-time or weekend capacity.
- Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and maintain data integrity.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client interactions.
- Reliability: Must be available to work Saturday and Sunday consistently.
