Responsibilities
- Perform accurate daily and monthly bank reconciliations for a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring all invoices are recorded correctly.
- Reconcile credit card statements and identify discrepancies for resolution.
- Generate and review financial reports, including P&L statements and balance sheets.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for client tax documents and financial records.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial closings.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding account status and billing inquiries.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online or Xero.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during weekend shifts.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
