Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring accurate data entry and reconciliation of accounts.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Assist in the preparation of federal, state, and local tax filings and compliance documentation.
- Conduct internal audits and investigate discrepancies in financial reports.
- Collaborate with management to develop budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA preferred).
- 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
