Responsibilities
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and general ledger entry for client accounts.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately.
- Manage payroll processing for clients, ensuring all tax filings are up to date.
- Review and organize financial documents, invoices, and receipts.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and financial reporting.
- Communicate with clients regarding account status and discrepancies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable transportation to the Charlotte office (Hybrid/On-site).
