Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile client accounts using QuickBooks Online
- Process bi-weekly payroll and tax filings
- Handle accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance reports
- Assist with quarterly tax preparation and audits
- Maintain organized digital filing systems for compliance
- Provide weekend support for urgent financial inquiries
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and California tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Weekend availability (Saturdays/Sundays, 8am-5pm)
- CPA certification preferred
