Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions with precision
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements weekly
- Prepare and distribute month-end financial reports
- Manage payroll processing for weekend staff
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries
- Assist with quarterly tax preparation documentation
- Implement financial controls and compliance procedures
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday, 8am-4pm)
- Knowledge of GAAP and Massachusetts tax regulations
