Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations during weekend shifts
- Manage payroll data entry and tax filings for weekend-processed transactions
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance reports
- Maintain accurate QuickBooks data with weekend transaction cycles
- Collaborate with weekday team for seamless financial handovers
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and industry regulations
- Support month-end closing procedures with weekend-specific tasks
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday 8 AM - 4 PM)
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- CPA certification preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration
- Tampa Bay area residency preferred
